TOWN RECORDS

There are two sources for online Italian records: FamilySearch’s Historical Record Collections and the Italian National Archives' Ancestors Portal. You need to search both. For the towns listed below, steps have been provided on how to locate records for each of these sources. If your town is not listed, perhaps your province is. The approach, instructions, and links presented for one town in a province might be similar to what is needed for another town in the same province. In addition, the hope is to add towns to this list, so check back often.
